You can try to be a ghost, honey
Drive a car all the way to the coast
You can try to disappear
Find somewhere where you cannot hear me say
The words that you don't want to hear
Those words
So run, run
However far your legs, legs, legs will let you
So run, run
However far your legs, legs
Will let you run from love
You can try to make believe, honey
Turn the wheel ‘round so you can leave
Anyway you try to steer
You’ll end up somewhere where you’ll hear me say
The words that you don’t want to hear
Those words
So run, run
However far your legs, legs, legs will let you
So run, run
However far your legs, legs
Will let you run from love
You can try to call it a dream, honey
Follow the words that you did not mean
Distance will make it clear
There’s nowhere where you will not hear me say
The words that you don’t want to hear
Those words
So run, run
However far your legs, legs, legs will let you
So run, run
However far your legs, legs
Will let you run from love
This popped up in my feed thanks to Solitude and Sin. Released in 2016. There is gold to be found in the depths of Bandcamp. This is excellent psychedelic rock lloydd
The debut LP from Kioea is dreamy psychedelic surf music that calls back to the '60s while feeling remarkably contemporary. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 22, 2023
Mt Mountajn, for all of their distinctiveness, still continue to progress and evolve their sound. This is a sinewy, slightly leaner beast than previous releases. The songs are briefer, slightly more melodic; perhaps the influence of Stephen Bailey’s solo explorations?
The songs are still iterations of tension and gloom. Mt Mountain have honed their music into a uniquely powerful form of minimalist psychedelic brutalism. Theirs is a menacing, looping drone, always threatening to explode. Michael Mueller
