I am the bubble in the syringe
A dangerous equation that I put you in
Now here I go, out of your control
You let me in, like a bad dose, so
When it feels this good
I won’t apologize
Do you want to feel this good?
Or are you gonna tell me lies?
I am the habit that you can’t shake
A simple situation, but how it escalates
Now here I come, I’m gonna take control
Say what you want, I know how the story goes, so
When it feels this good
I won’t apologize
Do you want to feel this good?
Or are you gonna tell me lies?
I am the virus that calls you home
A new mutation that’s never been known
Now here I grow, I have lost control
Swimming inside you, should have left me alone, but
When it feels this good
I won’t apologize
Do you want to feel this good?
Or are you gonna tell me lies?
This popped up in my feed thanks to Solitude and Sin. Released in 2016. There is gold to be found in the depths of Bandcamp. This is excellent psychedelic rock lloydd
The debut LP from Kioea is dreamy psychedelic surf music that calls back to the '60s while feeling remarkably contemporary. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 22, 2023
Mt Mountajn, for all of their distinctiveness, still continue to progress and evolve their sound. This is a sinewy, slightly leaner beast than previous releases. The songs are briefer, slightly more melodic; perhaps the influence of Stephen Bailey’s solo explorations?
The songs are still iterations of tension and gloom. Mt Mountain have honed their music into a uniquely powerful form of minimalist psychedelic brutalism. Theirs is a menacing, looping drone, always threatening to explode. Michael Mueller
